Raven's Journey

Raven’s Journey is a hands-on maritime education and cultural restoration program for Native youth from Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and Indigenous communities across the United States.

Aboard a purpose-built sailing vessel, students join a professional crew for multi-week expeditions that blend cultural heritage, environmental stewardship, and job skills training. These are not leisure cruises—they are immersive learning experiences designed to challenge, inspire, and empower.

Participants:

• Learn seamanship, navigation, engineering, and marine operations
   
• Engage with Indigenous communities and traditional knowledge
   
• Build leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
   

Voyages travel to culturally and environmentally significant destinations, including Alaska, the Pacific Islands, South America, Asia, and the Caribbean.

Our goal is simple: equip the next generation with the skills, confidence, and cultural grounding they need to thrive—at sea, at home, and in their careers.
